Accidental Lupus Vacation

lupus vacation

It has been a while since I posted an article that I authored and I humbly apologize for my lengthy absence.  I do have a justified explanation, though.  A short while back, I was in a car accident.

Dealing with the post-accident aftermath of communicating with car insurance companies, extra doctor appointments, physical therapy, getting my vehicle fixed, etc. has been overwhelming.

The entirety of it all has engulfed my life and devoured all of my unused energy molecules, which are always quite scant.

Right now it feels as if I am subsisting on will power alone.  I’m physically spent, emotionally taxed, mentally drained, and psychologically wearied.  Having lupus and other chronic illnesses are arduous in and of themselves.  Suffering through the after-effects of an auto accident while already contending with the unremitting symptoms of my diseases has exhausted every aspect of my being.

Despite all of this, I have not lost faith and hope.

I believe that if you can hold onto these two vital elements, you can prevail and overcome any obstacle.  Hopefully my body will soon heal from the accident.  Hopefully before long I will be able to write articles that are chock-full of profundity and positivity.  Until then, please take care of yourselves.  You are worth it!
